Entries:    Please visit www.athletic.net and search for Minook #SmithStrong Invitational. We are asking that you have all entries in by Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 7pm  

Scratches:    All coaches are to report to the start/finish line to submit scratches and to pick up meet packets. Please do this by 10:00 a.m.

Coaches     There will be a brief coaches meeting at 10:00 a.m. at the start/finish line.

Workers:    Please email me at [email protected] and supply one worker. I will do my best to have qualified workers at each station but would really appreciate help just in case. If anyone has a great Pole Vault Coach, I’d like them to run the event. I’d like to assign 4 total Coaches to that event. Two to run Varsity and two to run F/S.

Facilities:    The track is an 8-Lane, 400m, and all-weather track. Team camps can be set up in the Visiting Bleachers or in the Grass Field on the North Side of the Stadium. The meet will be F.A.T. timed by Adkins Timing.  Please bring your athletes ready to compete. We will have a Timing Board at the Finish Line. Locker rooms are not available.

Spikes:    Athletes may wear up to ¼” pyramid pikes.

Weigh-Ins:    Shots and Discs will be inspected at the event.

Entries:    We will run Frosh/Soph and Varsity Levels. Standard Entries. Two Individual Entries per Open Event and 1 Relay per Relay Event for each level.

Vertical Jumps:    Opening heights will be determined according to meet entries.

Scoring:    10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (Individuals & Relays) - Varsity & F/S will be scored separately

Awards:    Individuals Events: Medals-Top 3; Ribbons 4-6 - Relay Events: Medals – Top 3

Top 3 teams will be awarded plaques

        Shot Put –Varsity 1st - Varsity 3 Throws + Finals; F/S 4 Throws No Finals

        High Jump – Varsity followed by F/S

        Pole Vault – Varsity followed by F/S

• Starting Height will be determined. We will increase Heights by 1’ until we reach

11’1” at both levels. At that point we will raise the bar in 6” increments.

        Long Jump – Three Flights • 4 Jumps • F/S & Var at the sametime. Top Flight 1st.  

    Triple Jump – At completion of Long Jump
